However, most general population clients who are looking to lose weight are not near this point, even if they feel their energy intake is low and they are not losing weight (usually due to other factors such as diet and exercise adherence).”
However, I do think that for the majority of people, reducing energy intake is the best way to create an energy deficit to promote fat loss.
